The Gertrude Gown is almost entirely hand sewn, built from layered sheer eco-tulle and mesh in nude and black that shift and blend into each other as you move. Dramatic, oversized sleeves stream from the shoulder in soft, weightless layers, catching air and trailing behind with every turn.

Product Description:

The real story is on the back: a cluster of hand-beading placed to look like a stab wound, dark beads radiating outward as if freshly struck. It's a direct reference to Gertrude of Merania, Queen of Hungary, who was assassinated by her own nobles in 1213, and it turns the gown's most beautiful angle into its most unsettling one.

Worn over the included beaded harness underlayer or your own base layer, it's built to be seen in motion, not standing still.
