Product Description:

The Hatshepsut Gown is named for one of Ancient Egypt's most successful rulers, a pharaoh who governed with more skill and ambition than almost anyone who came before or after her. She expanded trade, commissioned some of Egypt's most ambitious architecture, and held her throne for roughly two decades of prosperity and peace. After her death, her successors tried to erase her from history, defacing her statues and chiseling her name from monuments so future generations would forget she ever ruled. It did not work. She is remembered as one of the great pharaohs of Egypt, and her legacy outlasted every attempt to bury it in shadow.
