The Boudica Gown builds a strapless corset bodice in polyester corset mesh, boned for structure with sheer and opaque paneling and a peplum flare at the hip. From the center, a dense column of hand-beaded fringe cascades all the way down the body, each strand catching light differently, designed to read like something bleeding down the gown.

Product Description:

Cutouts at the hip and sheer paneling underneath keep the piece from feeling heavy despite the density of the beading, so it moves with you instead of against you. It's named for Boudica, Queen of the Iceni, who led a rebellion against Roman occupation after her family and her kingdom were violated, burning three Roman cities to the ground and leaving tens of thousands dead before her defeat. She isn't remembered for how she died. She's remembered for how much blood she was willing to spill to answer for what was done to her, and this gown is built for that same kind of unapologetic force.
